How it began
Beauty should not require replacing what already works.
The idea began with a simple question: why should bringing art into a home require replacing a perfectly good television? Our founder wanted a practical, budget-friendly way to turn the screen already in the room into something beautiful, useful, and educational.
That idea became The Family Gallery TV: a carefully prepared USB collection of more than 1000 classic works, each captioned with the artwork title and artist. Insert it into a compatible television, start a slideshow, and the familiar black screen becomes a changing home gallery.
Using an existing television can avoid an unnecessary hardware purchase and the waste that comes with replacing a working device. Because the collection is stored locally, it also works without a Family Gallery subscription, advertisements, or a constant internet connection.
